Unpacked this tile set and the forest perils set a few days ago. They're made of a durable material, and the box fits back together nicely for travel. The one thing I'll say I noticed is that the river tiles can be a bit difficult to mesh into your map, as they're not as prevalent as the open spaces and trails. For a quick woodlands encounter or some off-the-cuff forest exploration though, these tiles are great.
What I liked:The size of the tile is perfect for gaming, the paper has a nice protective coat and it's easy to link one tile to another.What I didn't like:The color is too dark so it is difficult to see across the table, the darkness makes the beautiful details invisible, the paper is too thin and the grid lines don't stand out very well.
Used these tiles in a recent gaming session.It was really easy to use these construct a nice open-land area. One side of the tiles have paths, the other side has terrain so it greatly simplified how one mixes and matches things to create an environment.
These tiles were great. I have used them twice already and everyone at the table liked them.
