Great for teaching young children our history. I loved the pics. This is maybe for a child maybe about 4 and older. I just wanted to surround my 2 year old with the info even if he didn't get it yet. We have to teach our children our history because they won't learn it anywhere else and this is a good place to start.
before my son was born, I was concerned with him learning about his history. I made a list of several books that I wanted to get for him and this was one of them. Overall I am pleased with the historical accuracy and depictions in the book, the only thing I didn't like is that the lustration a are very dark and some pages are harder to read because of the dark backgrounds.
Educational and informative. Gave to Grand child as gift.
