Regardless of what genre of books you might love to read, for that there are always a handful of authors for whom you can’t wait to read their next endeavor. For this reviewer, who’s a Top Contributor for True Crime books Jack Rosewood is that kind of author for me for this genre. In each of his anthologies of True Crime Stories, he’s selected specific theme[s] in which to write about murderers throughout the world who for some reasons have been able to exist below radar of practically all sorts of news media. For this installment, Mr. Rosewood has chosen a number of themes, including that of vacations which have gone astray, disappearing individuals, and most unfortunately the extinction of families. For each of the twelve stories this book contains, the author gives his readers a brief bio of the murderer which includes a reason for their depravity, the murder[s] itself, and the aftermath.Crimes of murder exist throughout the world; and the perpetrators of them are so varied that you might have one standing next to you at any time, for you can’t tell by their outward appearance of what they’ve done or are capable of doing. For giving me and the rest of his readers another dozen true crime stories which are as always captivating and riveting, I’ve given Mr. Rosewood the 5 STARS he’s gotten from me.
This is another great read that was really hard to put down. It's an insightful and graphically detailed account of some of the most horrific crimes. In fact, while reading yet another of Jack Rosewoods books I had to keep turning the pages yet again. Not necessarily because it's all that enjoyable in any way, shape or form, to delve a little too deeply into the malefic minds of such murderous men, but because I sincerely believe that most people are fascinated in one way or another by serial killers. Perhaps it’s the human morbid fascination with death. I’m not exactly sure. However, maybe it just astounds the average person as to how depraved other individuals can be.Even if you are a seasoned campaigner of true crime, True Crime Stories Volume 11 will surely raise more than a few hairs on the back of your neck. It was a first-class read and the author gave a perspective to these horrific crimes that was both fascinating and intriguing. This was one of the better true crime books that I have read recently.I would highly recommend this read to all fans of the true-crime genre. I’m also a big fan of Jack Rosewood so it’s another 5 Stars from me. Well done again!
These are the Chapter’s that interested me the most.*Chapter 6: Mesac Damas, the Voodoo Family Annihilator A Strange Background Coming to America The Murder Crazy Courtroom Antics Final Resolution; *Chapter 9: Cheyenne Rose Antoine, the Social Media Murderess Life in Saskatoon Cheyenne Antione & Brittany Gargol The Murder Charges Filed; *Chapter 10: Bevan Spencer von Einem and “The Family†Murders Bevan Spencer von Einem The Murder of Richard Dallas Kelvin The Arrest & Trial of Einem Einem’s Connection to the Family MurdersWarning: This book is for adults only & contains extreme violent or graphic adult content or profanity &/or sexually explicit scenarios. It may be offensive to some readers.I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. 12 very well written true crime stories (book). They were all very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. They all could also make another great true crime sequential movie, PP presentation, or better yet a mini TV series or even a documentary (True Crime; American Crime Story; Investigative Discovery). There are no references or works cited so I will only rate it at 4/5 stars.Thank you for the free author; LAK Publishing; Amazon Digital Services LLC.; bookTony Parsons MSW (Washburn)
I enjoyed reading this book very much! It was very well written and very interesting to read. I have read most of this author's works as the stories are very well researched and thoughtfully written. I plan on reading more from this talented writer. Each case was interesting and I learned about some cases I did not know about. Mr. Rosewood is one of the best criminalogy author's I've had the pleasure of reading.
Here’s another shocker from Jack Rosewood. They are all interesting but the one that stands out in my mind is Ira Einhorn. I was living in Philadelphia when this murder occurred. He skipped bail and was convicted in absentia, convicted and sentenced to life without parole. The trick was finding him. Another interesting case was the Ken and Barbie murderers. All in all any of the books in this series are worth reading, they just keep getting better.
kindle unlimied but one of my 'bought' books, used to do list of main books, all of which had read, but was getting longer than review/review blurb, did read that he never fails to please, suppose true if you're pleased to be grossed out, though I have different reaction than most people, thinking more CSI type things, but just keep barf bag at ready, and if fine after this one there are loads listed series and singles and sets, listed amazon and goodreads
Jack Rosewood never fails to please. I am a huge fan of studying serial killers and what makes them tick. There is several times that I have found that Jack uncovers at least one that I haven't heard of or some evidence that I missed when learning about the specific killer. Fabulous book as always.
